Please help. I am trying to rip a DVD to eventually remix it with another (4:3) movie. I want to keep the ratio of the first movie but am not sure how. This movies' ascept ratio changes several times from 1.8:1 to 2.7:1 to 1.5:1. Is there some filter that will change dynamically during the rip to maintain correct AR?

DVDs are either 4:3 or 16:9. That's it. In the 16:9 widescreen, the aspect ratios are often larger than actual 16:9
In order to remix it together, the 4:3 titleset will need to be imported to a different VTS to the 16:9 ones.
This is all simple in PgcEdit (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/index.html). Use its Import VTST Titles function from the File menu.
Thread transferred to IFO/VOB Editors.

Thanks for the advise but I am neither a genius nor a video industry professional. After looking at this program I would have
to be either one or both to figure it out.
