does anyone know if it will play nero digital avc too?If this player accesses files in the same way as its predecessor (HD-A1) then no....

For example, the HD-A1 can't play MPEG-4 AVC streams muxed within the .AVI or .MP4 containers...

Dunno if it can play MPEG-4 AVC streams muxed within the .MPG or .TS containers, as we don't have the muxers for those containers... yet ;)

it will most probably only allow .EVO (PS) playback and as SeeMoreDigital said no Consumer tools are available for H.264 or VC-1 yet only for Mpeg-2 Video.
