is there any appz like virtualdub who allow me to edit *.mkv (x264) file and take a snapshot in bmp for quality check
and aslo allow me to merge files and cut samples ?

for snapshot use Media Player Classic, for merge use mmg.exe (into mktoolnix package), for cutting... don't know ...better to extract file, edit these and remuxing...

sorry i ve tried Media Player Classic
it doesn t play well , it s slow somtimes it stop , with any sample i try
sample are 1280*720

well since your sample are in high-quality have you a more then good processor ? also try decoding with coreavc (one of the fastest around)
