Hi world !
I use MKV container to store x264 video stream ...
I use Medi Player Classic with :
> Matroska splitter
> CoreAvc
> Reclock audio render
> Haali's render
The problem : ;)
When opening mkv file, MPC "say" buffering[..%] ( from 0 to 100 ) ... and the movie duration grow until buffering is 100% ...
I think MPC store keyframe for jump or something like that ...
Can I do something to disable this ? :o
Thanks to all...
Have fun !
Seb.

Just a question : why did you use Reclock ? It's really necessary for you ?

This can happen if the file has no cues table (e.g. produced by x264) and you try to seek in the file.

This also happen on opening the file ... but you must be right about cues table, it's look like when VirtualDub open .vob files ...
Is there a way to "add" this cue table manually ? ... :D
Thanks ! :)

Run it through mkvmerge.

Yes, I will ... thanks ...
Run it through mkvmerge.
Ok, but it's me who encode this hollidays movie, and I have mux it with mkvmerge ...
( but I will verify that it's not the .mkv file directly from x264 which have this problem ... ;) )
Thanks a lot ! :o)
[edit] You were right : MKMerger add Cue table ( it's in the log file ;) )
