Need Help Making Double Feature DVDs

I regularly use DVD-Rebuilder to back up my DVDs and, so that I can store them on my computer, I make them Half-D1 and reduce the file size to about 2 gb for vids with a runtime of less than 2 hours.

I would like to put 2 dvds, including their original menus, on a single dvd-5 with a custom menu that I create, so that the links on my custom menu take me to the root menus of the dvds I backed up with DVD-Rebuilder.

DVDRemake claims to be able to do this, and I have had some progress merging DVDs with this app, but my custom menu never seems to point to the right places using their automated process, and the chapter menus of the combined DVDs are usually lost in the merging process.

If anyone has had success doing this and will share their process, I would be very grateful. Thanks.

What DvdReMake "automated procedure" you are referring to? Is it this guide: http://www.dimadsoft.com/dvdremakepro/ht_merge_full.php If it is a normal copy of the program then there should be no problems. Well, I am having problems and I have followed that tutorial to the letter. It would not surprise me if the half-d1 format of the videos had something to do with it but I really don't know for sure. I am using DVDRemake Pro v. 3.13. Has anyone had success using another method?

It's not the export that is causing me the trouble, it's the import. When I import the backups, I get errors galore - errors in the debug mode which are not present in the backups themselves. When I am able to manually fix the errors, they export ok. I can see the custom menu I made and it works ok, its the menus for the backups that aren't working right. But no offense taken, I'd just prefer to find another method to use beside your program. Thanks.
