I’m trying to back up the movie Alien SE, the one with the director’s cut. I used dvd decryter to extract the main movie from the disc, I did have anydvd running. Then used ifo edit to strip away the unused audio. Finally, used dvd2one to burn it. The quality was excellent, but while playing the final result, the movie would start repeating chapters.
Somewhere along the line I ended up with 41 chapters, from a movie that only has about 21 chapters. Any suggestions?

Try it again without AnyDVD running in the background. It and DVD Decrypter should not be run at the same time, and there is no special protection on that disk.

Hi!I used dvd decryter to extract the main movie from the disc, I did have anydvd running. Then used ifo edit to strip away the unused audio. Finally, used dvd2one to burn it.Try the following instead (Do not use either AnyDVD or IFOEdit):
1) Use DVD Decrypter, in "File" mode to rip "ALL files" (NOT just "movie files)
2) Use DVD2One to select "Movie only", select the proper "Title" and to check ONLY those audiostreams you wish to keep - then burn...
