I'm about to start encoding some Gargoyles SVC's and I'd like to know what the max bitrate is for a standardized SVCD. I know one can go as high as they like like 6000, but that's not a standard SVCD. The other hting is, if I go higher than the standarized SVCD bitrate what will this mean for the people who aquire my encodes and try to play them on their DVD player? Will the high bitrate affect playback ro something?
