There are two versions of the Viewer/Editor... the original one and the new Beta Editor. It is activated by selecting "Use Beta (test) Viewer/Editor" under the "Settings" menu. When I add a substantial portion of new code, I like to keep it in "test" mode for a few versions so folks have a chance to try it out and look for errors.
Also, are you doing any preprocessing at all?

Could you give me a list of steps that you perform in order to receive this? Also, what's the title of the disc? What do you use to rip it? What versions do you use (ripper, DVD-RB)?
By the way, this is the only instance I can recall having ever been reported of that error code. It's not documented in the compiler -- and frankly I'm a little perplexed as to how you could be getting it (especially since no one else has reported it). I'd like to see if there is something unique in the way you are processing or in the disc you are trying to backup.

Also, what's the title of the disc? What do you use to rip it? What versions do you use (ripper, DVD-RB)? Also, are there any extra segments? Is VTS_01 the only VTS?
I'll start looking at what happens when there aren't...

Ok, I found it and fixed it. It'll be included in the next release.
I'm really surprised I haven't gotten a report on this before. The error has apparently been there since the release of the beta editor (v1.10.0)...
Thanks for the report!

It only occurs on discs that have a single VTS. The disc you'd used on your notebook probably had more than one.

Filters can be run regardless of the encoder. The filtering actually happens before encoding (as the video is frame-served to the encoder).
