Hi,
sorry for my English.
Scenarist always inserts 16 sectors before each BUP into image, Nero doesn't do it. How do you think, this is strong requirement of the spec, or Scenarist's caprice ?
Thanks.

By the spec IFO and BUP has to be written into different ECC blocks (1 block = 16 sectors), usually the vob is written between IFO and BUP but if there is no vob scenarist insert 16 sectors to achieve this.
Its just what pgcedit does if you enable 32kb space (Options-Input/Output).
Nero cant handle such gaps and modifies it....use pgcedit or imgburn for burning.

Thanks for quick reply.

No, Scenarist always inserts additional 16 sectors, even through VOB locates before BUP.
I don't do VMG/VTS-menu with dummy-PGC only and sometimes burn VIDEO_TS folder by Nero. And so IFO and BUP will have written into different ECC blocks.
Is this method fully correct to spec ?

Just checked -you are correct, even VOB is > 32k sectors are inserted
Imho Scenarist's caprice, e.g. Mastro does not.

VIDEO_TS folder with "fulled" menu domain and burned by Nero satisfies the requirements of spec in that case. Do I right understand ?
Or exist other reasons don't use Nero ?
Thank you very much.
