For those of you using nero aac to encode your audio. What quality setting do you prefer?
I was testing a wav ripped from a cd from 0.05 to the default 0.5 on my surround system and couldn't tell a difference.
Generally, how low can you go and still not be able to tell any audible difference?

Thats true.
I'm not asking for the "best" setting. I just wanted to get some others opinions.
Anyway just because this song sounded fine at 0.05 doesnt mean something else will too.

-q .353 (I think)
I don't really remember, I don't use aac much. The setting I would use is just above the threshold where the lowpass filter drops from 17khz to 15khz, ~100kbps.

These are the recommended settings for Nero AAC.
