Hey, I finally got around playing with this... (stupid blue CCE logo =< ) and have to say this is pretty cool. Works pretty well (err without reading the guide THAT much).
Ummm I'd like to see DVD2AVI's logo be done differently... like encoded over the beginning of moovie in the corner or something (like a station id) instead of the BIG peachie smiley face (its pretty, but kinda BIG don't u think?
The next thing I gotta figure out is how to do a MPEG2 encode and save it as a file. (1 movie plus making of movie should fit nicely on 2 CDs).... you can ignore me if this is in the faq =P I'll find it eventually.
The last thing is, it seem to take a LONG time to do... I think after the first install it wants to do 5 pass... most messages refer to 3 pass so I should probably change that somewhere... Seems to be way quicker to do DivX4 2 pass.... ummm thats a stupid statement... 2 pass is quicker than 3 pass or 5 pass ... ok, ignore this bit too.
