wmv to x.264 or h.264

Hey, is it possible to convert a wmv file to a mp4 format using x.264 or h.264 encoders?? If so anyone help. I tired the megui, but I can't seem to encode the audio with it, and extracting it and then remuxing it results in sync problems.

its x264, not x.264. also x264 is h.264 compliant so there is no difference in a sense between the two

use directshowsource in your avs script to feed x264
