I searched the forum but couldn't find any reference to it.. why not use it ?

'The Film Machince' seems to use it well and its author The Mask even continues its development to fix bugs, support CCE SP2 etc:

One of its neat features is the automatic transcode and sizing pass in the cases of over and under size (or Q), respectively

Just a suggestion ...

DVD-RB already supports SP2. I guess I don't see what would be the advantage of adding another frontend to CCE when it already works.

I do plan to take a look at it, though. If not for DVD-RB, at least for general enjoyment. Tylo has a good reputation around here. He actually helped me with methods for the OPV algorithm in DVD-RB.

The main thing that caught my eye was the automatic transcoding / sizing pass that AFAIK is not currently implemented in DVD-RB and could be integrated relatively easily with ccefront

As you take a look at it maybe you'd run into more interesting things that it offers, i'm really not knowledgable enough to know

Thanks for the quick reply
