dvd2svcd problem

i'm using dvd2svcd 1.0.5 build 2 and the problem i get is the vaf file doesn't get created and when dvd2svcd starts the CCE process if fails because the file is missing.
Can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong that this file isn't being created.
