Replaced PGC - Subtitles not playing

I did the following :

- Ripped DVD
- Demuxed Video, Audio and subtitle using PGCdemux
- Changed volume levels
- Re-muxed back Video, Audio and Subtitle using IFOedit(for one language only)
- Replaced PGC using VObblanker
- Shrinked the files.

But my SAP is not playing the subtitles :(

I checked at each level of steps in a software player and even in the final encoded DVD the subtitles are playing well using the software player.

What culd have gone wrong and how can I rectify it.

Yes, did that already and it showed the correct subtitle also but didnt display in the SAP but wondering if I need to copy the color map for proper functioning.

I also noticed IFOedit was using the same code for (WS/LB display) in the logs, whereas that was changed later by VOBblanker matching the original source.

any clues???
