I downloaded VobBlanker and it came with a program called VobBlanker.chm. Running it opens a window called HTML Help. But everything on the Contents list shows "The page cannot be displayed."
Clicking Help/Contents on the VobBlanker main menu opens the same thing with the same result.
Wazzup with this?

Your help file is corrupt (or yourt PC is playing up). Download it again.
Here's how it should look:

Hi blutach,
I've downloaded it several times over the past year on one computer with the same results every time. Now I downloaded it onto a different computer on the same network and have the same problem. Could there be something wrong with my network or firewall? I've never had a problem downloading any other program.

It's a normal CHM prog. Do your other help files on your PC function normally?

Try reading this (http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/htmlhelp/html/hwHTMLHelpFrequentlyAskedQuestions.asp) page. I'm guessing you're running win9x?

Negative. I'm running XP Pro on a Dell Dimension 4600 and XP Home on a Dell Dimension 2400.
I skimmed over the contents of that link. It seems to be addressing only older versions of Windows and IE so I didn't go any further with it.

Hi blutach,
This is the only help file I've ever had this problem with.

Verify that the protected flag is not set on the CHM file. (Right-click on the CHM and select Properties.)

Voila`! Success!
I didn't find "protected" but I found "Unblock". Switched that and it opens now.
Thanks. That was driving me nuts.
