IfoEdit and VoBBlanker: What's the Difference? [Archive]

Hi,

What is the difference between IfoEdit and VobBlanker? I've used VobBlanker before to remove some stuff prior to encoding for a backup. It seems like IfoEdit does similar things. I was wondering what the difference and similarities between them are, and when it might be better to use one or the other.

As its name suggests, IfoEdit (http://ifoedit.wh.fr0zen.com/) can do a lot of things to IFOs that VobBlanker (http://jsoto.posunplugged.com/vobblanker.htm) can not. It is an editor of IFOs.

VobBlanker works on VOBs. It can blank on a VTS, title, part of title, part of VTS, cell, GOP basis. It can also convert menus to stills and substitute one title with another.

A quick reading of the guides on both sites should give you an idea of what each prog can do.
