Best solution for audio encoding from DVB source

Hello everyone i am recording movies from my skystar using dvbdream and i want to know which is the best way to convert audio to mp3.
I demux the mpg file that i get from dvbdream with projectx and i get a mpv (video) and a mp2 audio file.

Until now i use dBpowerAMP Music Converter to convert the mp2 to mp3 128kbps vbr ( thats the format i need ).

So i wanted to ask if anyone can get me a better way to encode it
with lame ( i think 3.90.3 is the best to use, but let me know if i am wrong).

Well there is lot's of ways, but if you want mp3 then Lame IS the only way to go. You could use Foobar2000, Belight, MeGUI,...any of these is ok, the best way to find out is to try them all and choose what fits you the best!
