Q: Encoded file plays mono while the source is stereo. why?
A: You need to use ffdshow to decode audio. Open "ffdshow audio", go in "Codecs", "AAC" and set "libfaad2". Alternatively, you can use Detritus Player Pack (http://www.detritus.qc.ca).
