I'm making a giant DVD containing video of 2 hockey games from my DVR.

I also want to place a standalone audio title of the AM Radio post-game shows on the dvd.

I used besweet to convert the audio to 192kbps 48khz stereo AC3.

When I added the audio title and compiled, i found that it adds a rediculous amount of overhead to the title (187mb AC3 ---> ~400mb VOB space.

Am i missing something? I figured AC3 is AC3 and it would just throw the track in there and the dvd player would play it. All i can figure is it is basically making a blank dummy video and muxing them together creating the overhead. (A bazillion Title Screen frames, perhaps?)

I'm trying to squeeze a lot onto this DVD and I can't afford that much wasted space.

Any ideas?

Any other info you need I can provide.

edit: also, lol... join date Jan 2002, posts 5 :P

Any ideas?

Your Lab version is probably 2.0?

Version 2.0 creates real mpeg streams and not stills with audio, update to 2.18.
