will this feature ever be implemented in DVD-RB?

Hi Guys,
just curious if this feature will ever be implemented in DVD-RB Pro,the ability to convert PAL to NTSC and vice-versa?
Hell if it could do that,there would be NO reason for anything else.

PAL to NTSC -- yes. Maybe NTSC (23.976) to PAL... But the NTSC @ 29.97 to PAL, probably never. There just isn't a way to remove frames without some kind of "glitch" at the removal point.

And speaking from one part of PAL-land, most players here and TVs play NTSC no problems at 525/60 scanning rate (60Hz PAL). Of course, we prefer higher resolution PAL instead of Never The Same Colour twice! :D
