pulldown detection on lcd using media center?

Hi

I have a media center computer with an ati x1900gt connected to a 42" lg LCD monitor using a dvi cable.

I was wondering in the catalyst control center under avivo there is a pulldown detection under the deinterlace page that isnt enabled by default. Should i enable pulldown detection?
