Remove VIDEO_TS.VOB

I have some DVD9's and i wanted to remove the VIDEO_TS.VOB file. Why? Because its not part of the main movie: it includes the "this DVD is enhanced" message but also adresses from the distributor. Its only 35 MB, but i just want to remove this :)
It has no clickable menu like buttons or something.
I seached on the forums here, and found that MenuShrink/Vobblanker is the best tool for this purpose.

However, both of them dont work good enough for me. Vobblanker doesnt seem to work because i cant choose the "blank" option with this particular titleset:

MenuShrink does work, it removes frames from the file and i thought it only left 1 frame, but when i opened in VirtualDub, i noticed there are still 7 frames left. When i play the DVD, i still can see one of those frames :angry: I just want to remove it, i cant believe this has to be so difficult.

Any suggestions?

Bh4i, in VobBlanker, click "Menu" at the right side of the window to see the menu PGCs of the selected titleset. This is where the unwanted stuff hides in your case...

All titlesets in a DVD have a menu domain and a title domain. Except the first titleset (video_ts) which only has a menu domain.

In the main window of VobBlanker only the titlesets, and below that the title PGCs of the selected titleset are displayed. Thus, click Menu to see the menu PGCs...

MenuShrink is not made for blanking/removing the materiel in whole. It shrinks the material by reducing a video stream to a single frame.

So, VobBlanker is the right choice. Or you could just as easy use PgcEdit instead (load the DVD, select a PGC in video_ts and hit CTRL+DEL to blank the entire domain)

Thnx guys, it seems i didnt know how to work properly with this tool :)

To bad it cant delete ONLY the vob file (it will copy those other files, i.e. u must specify some other outpos directory)

No you need not specify some output directory. Read the guides on the site.

Simply, tick "Use Input Folder"
