trying to backup my le samourai. i'm using latest dvd rebuilder pro with cce 7.0 trial.

i attached my log.

as you can see, it finished success but when i play it i get black picture in between chapters (at least i think it is only between chapters). so when in between chapters there is like 1.5 secs of just black screen. weird huh. haven't ever had problems w/ rebuilder. i will note that i had the beta viewer enabled but i DID NOT use it to blank anything (i didnt even touch the "view segment editor" tab)

any help is appreciated.

When reading in the M2V files from the encode, DVD Rebuilder is seeing more frames in those segments than were in the original. Something is happening in the encode that is adding blank space to the end of the stream.

Try DVD Fab Decrypter, or better yet AnyDVD (if you own it)... there are some things that DVD Decrypter just can't rip (unless you are using it as a part of RipIt4Me). But you will need the original. If you ripped to an image with Decryper the damage is already done. It's possible that FixVTS may correct it, though.

FixVTS won't be able to work on the image, of course, It will need to be mounted and the files extracted.

Easiest is to rip again with RipIt4Me in file mode.
