Ive been trieng to backup my dvd i placed on my pc.
I followed the guide to backup dvds using cce/dvd rebuilder, and everytime i click on encode i get this error:
workfolder\d2vavs\item01.ecl is not a ECL for CCE SP
Ive already tried reinstalling both apps with no success, i even reverted to an older dvd rebuilder without go.
Im currently running DVD-RB Pro v 1.108 pro and CCESP v2.70.02.10.
any help is appreciated, thanks

You need to select the correct version of CCE under "SETTINGS/CCE SETTINGS" -- it should probably be set for "CCE SP Trial".

changed it to that, but same problem, here is error in dvd rebuilder window.
- Creating M2V for VTS_01 segment 0
-- V01000000001001 no .M2V, retrying.
- Creating M2V for VTS_01 segment 0
-- V01000000001001 no .M2V, retrying.
- Creating M2V for VTS_01 segment 0
- Failed to create M2V: V01000000001001
- The encoder doesn't appear functional.
CCE works with avi2dvd so i dont see how it sais the encoder isnt functional..

That is very definitely the problem.
Did you redo the PREPARE after changing it? That's where the ECL created.

You may want to read this thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=115504&highlight=cce_trial_header). It's possible that you might be using a cracked version of CCE that changes the header -- and I want to avoid that discussion.

i am not using a cracked version, i guess only solution is to redownload cce reinstall everything and try again??

As I said in that thread -- my version of CCE v2.70.2.10 Trial uses the same header as v2.70.2.9 -- but maybe there is a "goofy" legal trial release around... if so you may want to try adding this line to the "[Options]" area of your REBUILDER.INI file (you can edit it with NOTEPAD or WORDPAD):
CCE_Trial_Header="; Cinema Craft Enc. SP -- Encoder Control List"
You'll have to exit and restart REBUILDER after changing it. Let me know if it works.

didnt work, but redownloading the file directly from the website and reinstalling fixed it, thanks!
