View Full Version : DivX Player 6.3.2 doesn't play AVI with AC3 streams...

Does anyone can confirm this ?

Note that all others directshow players that I tested are able to play those files...

[edit]by "doesn't play" I mean that I've no sound. However the filter to decode AC3 streams is present.

Is working for me (I hear sound) with the same version 6.3.2. Also avi with dts sound is OK.

mmh right. So, there is a bug when we decode audio streams through ffdshow then. I'm trying with AC3Filter and it works fine.

I got what seemed like a recent ffdshow installer from there:

And was able to play all my AC3 audio avi files in the DivX Player 6.4. Did any of you try this version ?
