Help with stuttering Videos

Am recording Videos to cdrw for playback on my puter. I had read on here a while back that the problem might be in the bitrate? Is there a recommended bitrate I should try..the cd player on my dell is unknown brand so don't know how to find correct bitrate for that Player anywhere.

It would help if we had a clue as to your current video format that is causing you problems. Assuming these are data CDs with AVIs or WMVs or similar containers, knowing their current resolutions/bitrates would be helpful.

It would also help if we knew if your problem occurred when playing these videos from your hard drive, or if your problem was CD only.
