I've just bought a new amd 4600+ x2 cpu and 2x512 ram. The install worked fine and it seems to work good. Are there any guides how to really get the most out of it when encoding xvid. I've encoded with Gordian Knot and VirtualDubMod, 640x video, in around 1x speed. Shouldnt this cpu be able to do better, i've enabled the two-thread option in xvid-settings. What do i really need to do to get the most out of my CPU. I've tried searching here, but cant really find out what to do. I would appreciate some help. Searched this forum, but cant find anything useful.
