I have one DVD with me in which the main movie is contained in VTS# 2. VTS 1 files contain some extras that I don't want on the DVD.
Is it possible to delete all VTS_01 files, rename VTS_02 files to VTS_01 & then do corrections using IfoEdit or PGCEdit?
If yes, please share the method that can be used.
Thanks

No, you cannot do that. But you can easily blank out completely VTS 1. The VOB files will be replaced by a very tiny file (10KB.)
Open the DVD in PgcEdit and right-click on any PGC in VTST 1. Select "Blank out all VTST tilles". In the dialog, leave the default options. Save the DVD. Et voilą.

You can do it manually but you must know what you do!
Be sure that vts_01 is not used and includes the highest title numbers.
1. Delete vts_01 stuff, and rename vts_02 to vts_01.
2. Open VIDEO_TS.IFO in Ifoedit.
- Correct VGMGM_MAT: VMG Number of Title Sets
- Correct VMG_PTT_SRPT: Number of Title Play Maps, length of table
- Correct VMG_VTS_ATRT
For VTS_1: Attribute Start Byte use that from old VTS_02
Then correct the number of Video Title Sets.
3. Save VIDEO_TS.IFO
4. Open your DVD in PgcEdit: Info - Find jumps to nowhere.
Maybe there are any old jumps to VTSM 2. Change it to VTSM 1.
5. Save DVD.

Right, Frank, but your method is not easy! IMO, it is easier and safer to simply blank VTS 1.

Agreed: it is unnecessarily complex and risky!
Anyway, the same complete process proposed by Frank can be performed entirely inside a single PgcEdit session:
1. Tune up carefully the DVD navigation in order to make all of the VTS01 content (titles and menues) unreferenced
2. DVD --> Remap Titlesets (VTS01 <--> VTS02)
3. DVD --> Delete last VTS in DVD
4. Check No jumps to nowhere are left pending from previous step 1
5. Save DVD

Yes, and indeed it's easier than with IfoEdit. But fixing the commands so that VTS 1 becomes totally unreferenced is not easy for a beginner.

I am not a beginner and am happy with a 10k stub :D

Hey, I hate damned dvds with the main title in vts_08 and a lot of jumps!!!
That's why I delete all unnecessary crap. I make that in the sleep. :)

Me too. but it's really not necessary. You watch the movie, not the listing of the directory or the IFOs! ;)
