capturing with mencoder to mpeg4

Hi! I'm trying to capture the TV with mencoder but it seems to record at doublespeed, because i get a fast funny sound and a fast movie,I think that 1 second is 2 seconds recorded.I use that cmd:

mencoder tv:// -v -tv driver=v4l2:input=0:norm=pal:channel=27:chanlist=europe-west:width=576:height=576:device=/dev/video0:alsa:adevice=hw.1,0:amode=1:audiorate=44100:buffersize=64 -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4:aspect=4/3 -aspect 4:3 -noautoexpand -oac pcm -endpos 00:30:00 -o outavi.avi

Does anybody knows how to solve it, ive search everywhere and i can't get the soultion. (I have a saa7134 based card)

Posting mencoder output would be helpful. You do not specifiy vaues for fps or norm, and it would probably be helpful to see what mencoder's output log shows.

While this is probably unrelated, did you mistype your capture resolution?...width=576:height=576...
