csi miami season 1 disc 5

i was trying to watch the fifth disc on my computer since the previous 4 worked good, but this one the light for the dvd player comes on but after about a few seconds of reading the light goes out and still doesnt detect it, whats seems to be the issue here? can someone help me out? its a sony dvd burner and dvd rom, it can read other dvds perfectly but issue on this one, i mean the disc is clean and no visible scratches at all,

It looks like a new trend with episodic disks - one of them is copy protected. Try ripping it with RipIt4Me. You can rip an .ISO image and mount it with a virtual drive.

downloaded the program and still having issues and does the same thing, is there something i have to do wit my rom settings or something? can you tell me more bout the ripir4me program, or how to do the posting on a virtual drive? thanks..

country and region? the r4's are pressed at a facility that doesn't support structural protection (ie if you gave them a DLT with this protection, their verifier will spit out a long list of errors and reject the master outright),

some poor dudes out there have returned the same disc up to 5 times, but it's futile until the disc is re-pressed.

however, taking it back would be a good idea because if the disc has been recalled (which it should have been if it doesn't play on a significant percentage of machines), you'll at least know. however, if there's no recall then the problem is peculiar to either your player specifically or the make and model of player you use (typically computer DVD-ROM drives aren't supported at all because they vary far too much and don't make up a significant portion of people's main DVD watching equipment).
