my philips dvp5900 changes my tv setting!!

when i play a movie (divx) at 30 frame a second, my Tv jump to ntsc(my tv is pal), when i have set the player to PAL(and i tried all seting, it is not working),, resulting in a very narrow image(unwatchable).

is that a firmware problem? i have batched the firmare with the last one( the 2.27)

or is there a way to convert movies to 24-25 easily???

If you're in a PAL area, why would you create your DivX videos at 30fps?

cuz i got a dvd from the usa...and i didnt change settings!or didnt know how to do it...
