Hi all,

is it possible to use the standard xvid quantisation with AutoGK? It always uses its own matrix which it not playable on all standalone xvid player's :(

Hi-

As made clear in the included tutorial, install AutoGK with the ESS chipset option and you'll get the standard H.263 or MPEG matrices, rather than the custom matrices.

Hm ok, but also packed bitstream, which I don't want too ;(

AGK only uses 1 consecutive BVOP so pb shouldn't be a problem with regards to SAP compability... anyway once encoding is done, you can just remove pb with MPEG4 Modifier.

a solution which doesnt use PB and custom matrices would be very nice :)

I also agree. I have found that if you are using a single pass quantizer that the file sizes are rather unpredictable (larger) when you are not using h.263. Setting the ess option is not very intuitive and changes other parameters as well. I would like to see a separate option.
