Does anyone have alternatives logo that says MKV or something

Depends on what you call high quality, or rather how you want it to look, or how big it will be when printed. Did you check the homepage yet? There are some decent size logos on the page (not sure if they are good enough for your purposes).
The logo looks like it's been created from a vector image, so perhaps if you ask really nicely, one of the MKV guys will oblige and whip you up something larger.

There is a Matroska logo at brandsoftheworld.com, nothing with just mkv that I could see though.

Never seen an official MKV logo, don't think there is one. Matroska logos you will get all over the place. MKV is already very synonymous with Matroska, at least to me. Use the Matroska logo, let your friends figure it out, and if they ask, just let them know what it means.

There are some logos around at faireal, these are probably closest to "official":

A cute one from Ayaka there i didn't find on the page any longer, but i guess if you asked you could also get a SVG of it:

That is the same as the one on brandsoftheworld though so you can have it as large as you like.

The logo on brandsoftheworld (btw, here is the link (http://www.brandsoftheworld.com/search/?action=search&text=matroska)) is in vector format already (eps) which means you can scale it as large as you want while keeping full quality. Just use something like the free vector drawing program Inkscape (http://www.inkscape.org/), open the file and then Export it as a bitmap to how large you want or print it directly from Inkscape.
