I have searched alot but could not find what I'm looking for. If there is a tutorial somewhere please point me in the right direction.

This is the case.

I have bought the scandinavian release of the french movie: 36_QUAI_DES_ORFEVRES, what I didn't notice is that it only contained DD 2.0 French and DTS french.

Now, a friend of mine bought the movie from England and it contains DD 2.0 french, DTS, 2.0 English and the track that I want DD 5.1 french.

What I want to do is swap the 2.0 track from the skandinavian version with the 5.1 track from the UK version.

I have already demuxed both versions and used muxman to remux the movieback together again with the 5.1 sound and norwegian subtitle. But how do I get the movie to work along with the menu again. Is that possible at all?

The audio that is used or the sub that is displayed is determined by what 'streams' the PGC tells the player to play. Look at the PGC of the main movie with ifoedit/pgcedit and you will see the audio and subpicture details.
You will need to change these flags, because by adding 5.1audio, muxman will have changed the order of audio streams in the VOB file. If you open the VOB file in Vobedit you can see the stream numbers of each audio, 0x20, 0x21, 0x22 - 0x20 will be the 5.1. So try some different configurations of the audio streams in the PGC.

Thank you Zeul for your answer. BUt I could not get it to work with the meny that way. But I probably didn't do it right. I do not know IFO commands very well.

Here is what I did to get it to work properly. Incase someone else wants to do the same.

I simply opened the skandinavian release in VobBlanker rightclicked on the movie VTS and replaced it with the muxman VTS that I created. It took about 7 minutes for VobBlanker to reassemble it, and everything works properly. The menu works like a charm.

Thank you jsoto for a wonderful FREE program that you have created. I'm using it daily to blank unwanted stuff from a DVD.
This was the first time that I used the "replace function" though.

Maybe this post should be in the VobBlanker forum from now on.

Feel free to move it.
