I had this DVD5 which I wanted to strip off some logos and warnings, and the rootmenu as well.

So first I tried the DVDstripper/IFO-edit combination. Stripped off the menu-items mentioned, but after the processing was finito, the output would not start at all.

So I tried a different method - I opened DVDrebuilder, chose no compression and 'Movie Only', since there were no extras.

Then I copied over the titlemenu - VTS_01.0.VOB, together with the _01 BUP and IFO.

Then the menu works proper, but how do I correct the IFO so it jump directly to the title-menu when playing the disc??

Grateful for help.

You can use PgcEdit (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/index.html)'s Jump to PGC On DVD Insert function.

Guide on the PgcEdit (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/index.html) site.

Better than copying over the menu (which doesn't make it properly referenced in the structure) is to Import it in PgcEdit (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/index.html).
