View Full Version : low fps like/slow movement after encoding

Hi everyone.

I'm not sure which forum this really belongs to, but I hope you guys can help.

On my quest to achieving the cleanest Analog(VHS, hi8) --> DVD capture, I've been messing around with many noise reduction filters - both for AviSynth and Vdubmod.

It seems that when using certain filters, such as Convolution3D, and then encoding with CCE works just fine.

However, when I try to use Other filters such as - PeachSmoother, Vague denoiser and Neat Video(Vdub), and then encode with CCE, I end up with a slow moving stream, which looks very shaky - very similar to a game running very low FPS(under 10fps or so).

Does anyone has any idea what the cause might be here? I tried viewing the result movies on my PC and on my standalone DVD player and they all show the same problems, so this isn't a decoder issue.

I would greatly appreciate any help in this.
Guy.
