View Full Version : CCE Basic encoder not running in minimized mode

Hello everyone,

I recently moved to a new computer and found an annoyance (does not affect functionality). I am using the more affordable CCE Basic for my encoding, and since reinstalling all of my software, when DVD-RB calls it to encode, it pops up an status window for each segment it encodes. It shows the taskbar icon, and I have double-checked that I have the "run encoders minimized" option checked. This was not a problem on my previous computer.

Any ideas? It is just annoying to try and work while it is encoding with the status windows appearing for each encode. CCE Basic has few options to set and I couldn't find anything in the program to stop status window pop-ups.

Thanks in advance for any help,
Tom

I have the same problem with Procoder 2. I think jdobbs is aware of this.

cce sp2 trial also does not run minimized, but cce sp trial does.

That's a CCE issue and Custom Technology is aware of it. Even when it is running minimized it still displays its status window. Whether they decide to address it is anyone's guess.

I personally just run my jobs in batch mode while I'm sleeping.
