Hi!

What software and procedure(s) did you use to create the video?

What is the format of the video?

if it's an avi file you can take it into virtualdub(mod) and disable one of the audio tracks, then export to a new file with direct-stream copy mode on for both audio and video.

Enable the stream switcher in the ffdshow audio decoder.

How do you do that gameplay?

I don't believe enabling a streamswitcher can help you since, as you've correctly pointed out, GSpot indicates there is only ONE audiostream.

Again, I ask you - What software and procedure(s) did you use to create the video?

How did you create a single audiostream containing two languages?

Why don't you just go back to your original source material and make a properly structured XviD video?

i didnt create it, it was given to me for educatinal purposes for learning languagesUnfortunately, considering the nature of the problem you've stated, I don't think this video is going to help you learn either of the two languages.

If it weren't for the strategic smudges on your GSpot screengrab, I or someone else might be able to tell you something about the audio structure of the specific video...

Indeed, it would appear that both languages were downmixed into the same audio stream. Be that the case, there is nothing you can do to seperate the languages back out.

It never hurts to check though.. Open the video in mplayer2 (wmp6.4) or graphedit and see how many 'directsound devices' get used. If it's more than one, then that video misteriously has more than one audio stream even though it gets reported as having only one.

ps. not a gspot user, have never had a need for it
