Is it possible to remove this artefact (ugly thick black line on the bed edge)?

Sorry but this Q has noting to do with the bleeding but it looks like you use aWarpSharp as a sharpener, is that correct?
And the right side is totally smeared, so try without aWarpSharp and see if it will disappear. I would suggest that you use AddGrain to get it to look like it has got more detail and LimitedSharpen more than aWarp. A tad of aWarp can be ok but in my opinion it feels like detail disappear when using Awarp.

Yeah I can see there is a thick black contour / halo along the bed but I think it will be tricky to remove, its probably the camcorders built-in enhancer that has done it.

I didn't use aWarpSharp, I've used LimitedSharpenFaster.
Unfortunately, I don't have the original, but I'm pretty sure the artefact was there in very beginning, because I can see it on another DV tapes, may be less visible.
Anyway, I'm looking for fixing the clip what I already have.

If you look at the brick wall you'll see what he means by color bleeding too. But that's not so much bleeding as total smearing, smoothed so much it goes everywhere. The only way I could think to fix it is an anime-style filter that used lumanince edges to smooth the chroma, but that could just damage it more; most anything else you could do would definitely make it worse.

As for the huge smear on the side, well, either the original DV was damaged or more likely the decoder was damaged. You can't fix that, you can only cut it off or ignore it.

Is it color bleeding that I have in this image? It is especially noticeable in the subtitles where the white is shifted to the right, which I assume is also applicable to the rest of the image. I've tried a few filter combinations but with no luck. What might be some suggestions to try on this non-anime source?
