Hi,

I wanted to back-up my Goldfinger DVD, but the soundtrack is out of sync. I guess a part of the soundtrack is missing, because the English track which I'm using is smaller than the other tracks:

Goldfinger T01 2_0ch 192Kbps DELAY 0ms.ac3: 151,898,880 bytes
Goldfinger T02 2_0ch 192Kbps DELAY 0ms.ac3: 151,898,880 bytes
Goldfinger T03 2_0ch 192Kbps DELAY 0ms.ac3: 151,885,056 bytes
Goldfinger T04 2_0ch 192Kbps DELAY 0ms.ac3: 151,898,880 bytes
Goldfinger T05 2_0ch 192Kbps DELAY 0ms.ac3: 151,898,880 bytes

How can I get the sound in sync with the video? Also, I used DVD Decryptor for the decrypting and DGCMPDec to demux the soundtracks, but neither of them returned an error.

Hi!

Have you actually PLAYED your original, commercial DVD and determined that the English audiotrack is out of synch?

I ask because with the large quantity of sales of that particular older title, it's hard to believe that you're the first person to have come upon this anomaly...

What region is your DVD?

Yes, I have played the original DVD (PAL, region 2). Indeed, the audio is in sync when I play the DVD with PowerDVD.

But I don't have this sync problem with the other soundtracks. And with the English soundtrack it gets out of sync at a specific point in the movie.

EDIT: For testing purposes I encoded Goldfinger with FlaskMPEG and the audio/video seems in sync, but has 91 less video frames.
