Hey, folks..I've had great luck using DVD decryptor & DVD shrink to back up to single layer DVD's. Lately, Ive been running into this new "encryption" that won't let me rip with DVDD. (from what I understand, there are "blank spots" in the original that DVDD can't get past). A guy at work suggested I try DVDfab decryptor. It works...I get the files on my HD, but now DVDS won't burn them. (pop-up says "dvd shrink has encountered a problem & cannot continue") I CAN burn dual-layer & not shrink them, but I'd REALLY like to be able to shrink these & burn them to single layer discs. Any help or ideas would be great...thanks alot...Doug7x

Hi!

Use the wonderful new easy to use freeware "RipIt4Me" package to re-rip your problematic DVDs. You can download it at:

www.ripit4me.org

While you're at that site, by all means, read the excellent "how to" tutorial...
