I'm trying out the windows vista RC1 and have come across a problem with DVD Decrypter, and that is, it's very slow.
Decrypter will only rip up to 1.8x and does not seam to be buffering during rips. Ripping is also very spur attic. it sems like it cant maintain a continuous rip.
I have Vista and XP on a dull boot. When in XP decrypter works fine. So for me this seams to be an Vista unique problem.
settings are
Pioneer DVR-108 w/unlocked firmware (cant remember which version)
Interface - SPTI - Microsoft
Transfer Length - Auto
Buffer Size - 20 mb
Set Read Speed - Max
Enable SpeedRead DVD - True
everything is set to the default Decrypter settings.
Could this be due to the new security settings in vista; not allowing software to control devices. Or even starforce drivers. (which should not be on my pc as of clean install)
