Analyzing the GOP structure of *.VOBs files that were created by DVD-RB by means of GSpot v 2.60 (beta) revealed a number of "Temporal Sequence Discontinuities" which do not exist in the original *.VOBs.
(The discontinuities can be visualized by pressing the VGS button in GSpot.)
Although I did not experience problems with the playback, I thought I bring this up here, as I wonder if this may be a cause for stuttering playbacks reported elsewhere in this forum.
Gspot is here:

From the link you posted:
This is a pre-release - not all features are tested or complete yet.If this is the version you are using -- I don't think I'd trust things listed by a program that admits to being untested. Besides, temporal sequence values are set in the MPEG stream by the encoder, not DVD-RB. What encoder did you use? If you did find a problem I would think it should, more appropriately, be posted in the associated encoder forum.
The only reports I've seen related to "stutter" in a long time were caused by bitrates exceeding that specified as "maximum" -- and that usually happens when someone manually changes the "maximum bitrate" setting that DVD-RB specifies.

CCE SP Trial 2.70.2.10.
Sorry for bothering with something which might not be fully tested yet. Just disregard my posting.
.... and jdobbs thanks for the reply. Didn't know that this is done by the encoder. I thought it might be something with the remuxing. That's why I posted here. Just didn't know any better.

No problem. ;) But knowing now that you are using CCE -- I am confident the error is in the reporting, not in the stream. CCE is just way to good for that kind of thing.
