I am trying to rip my Stargate DVDs for my Mediacenter .. Anyway, with any program, either DVD Shrink, Xilisoft, Smartripper or DVD Decrypter - I can see duplicates of each chapter / movie :

As you can see, I can click each one of them and both have the same size, length etc.
The first episode has 1:33 and the last two 0:45 - the DVD has actually only three episodes.

If I rip all of them anyway - it seems that one part either has no sound, or the 2 half of the episode is missins etc. etc.

I am kinda lost here :(

You're ripping in IFO mode, which I don't use and therefore can't comment on your "double" pgc's. My advice is to rip in file mode with DVDDecrypter and see what you get.

One (or more) of the PGCs is probaby a "play all"/shared title. Can't tell precisely what without seeing the IFOs which you can't post here unfortunately.

You can open the DVD in PgcEdit (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/index.html) and check the VCIDs of the cells in each PGC. That will give you excellent info on the structure of the DVD.

Another way to do this is to open it in DVD Shrink, and ensure combine shared titles is ticked. It will show what's what in the zoo.

But I would also decypt in file mode, all files and use VobBlanker (http://jsoto.posunplugged.com/vobblanker.htm) to split the DVD. See guide on site.

Thread transferred to IFO/VOB Editors as it does not seem a decrpyting problem.

I mean yeah, I can rip in file mode, but the I need some program to rip them in avi and every program I have tried gives me still the duplicates.
