View Full Version : Nero bugs

Well after years of burning CDs and DVDs with nero I'm finally being forced to switch because of bugs in the software. About %5 of the DVDs I burn don't have sound in the movie. I've wasted 6+ dual layer DVDs because of this. This is nero's fault, because when burned with other programs they play fine. Also, I can't use nero to create an image either. It always freezes around halfway through and I have to cancel.

It has to do with the way nero modifies the DVD files. The files that are burned aren't exactly the same as the files on my hard drive, as the total size of the files is different.

I wasn't using the latest version so I upgraded and the problems still exist. GG nero.

Btw two example dvds that nero fails burning are grandma's boy and weeds season 1 disc 1. They were ripped with ripit4me.

I guess I'm going to switch to alcohol 120 but I need to find a good program first to create images. Anybody have any suggestions?

Edit: I have decided to use imgtool
