Upsidedown Images in CCE/DVD-Lab

In processing from AVI to DVD, I've managed to create the mpv and wav files using CCE, but when I load them into DVD-Lab the video is up side down. If I process that I get the VIDEO_TS files, but when played the video is still inverted. I'm sure I missed something simple in one of the settings, but can't find it. Can someone help? Thanks.

i was stumped by this one too...

it's probably your yv12 codec. CCE uses whatever windows has as default, and ffdshow often has problems with CCE (havent seen problems with anything else from ffdshow though. weird).

i recommend installing xvid and making sure it's doing the yv12 decoding for you.

either that or i'm on completely the wrong track :) but i'll say the problem lies between the codec and CCE's input, so that's where you should be looking.

Thanks, I appreciate your response, but I have no idea what you're talking about. I really am very new to all this. Can you give more details on what to do next? How do i determine what is being used as the default? How do I change it? Do you mean xvid codec? Thanks.

well, hopefully just installing xvid will fix the problem.

otherwise you can open the avi you're trying to encode in virtualdub (can be downloaded just about anywhere). go to "file > file information" and see what it says is decoding the video.

without knowing a little more about your system it's hard to tell what's causing the problem :)

do you have any codec packs installed? it might have automatically set up a codec that's borking with CCE.

OK - i have xvid installed (I'm using K-Lit Codec Pack). I was able to set xvid to invert the image. NOW - How do i make sure CCE is going to use it?
