I used a proxy and it gave me the same results. Same happened changing browser.

I encounter this very same error since yesterday afternoon :mad:

However the subfolders work just fine, for instance
WarpEnterprises (http://www.avisynth.org/warpenterprises/) or tsp's (http://www.avisynth.org/tsp/)

Perhaps the home page should become a plain dumb html page with links to the various interesting pages. Losing the whole site because the backend db chokes is lame.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll try to fix it before the weekend. The avisynth_rate table seems to shit itself pretty regularly, about once a year. Just another reason to finish the transition to MediaWiki as soon as possible.

Agreed, but the real answer is "this shouldn't happen." If huge wikis like Wikipedia doesn't have to make this compromise then we shouldn't have to.
