Before I begin I would like to make it clear that I am a noob to PGC Edit and only know about the PLS2 plugin. Now on with my question. A while ago I had recently bought Fast Times at Ridgemont High and decided that I would like to make a backup copy. Like any another DVD backup I have done, I copied it to my hard drive with DVD Decrypter
v3.5.4.0, in .ISO Read Mode. After it was copied to my hard drive I mounted the .MDS with Dameon Tools v4.03 and imported it into DVD Remake Pro v3.5.3. After it was imported into DVD Remake Pro I removed unwanted intros, extras and buttons. Once I was done removing everything I didn't want I exported it. Once it was finished exporting I ran it through DVD Shrink to remove the unwanted audio tracks and made the .ISO seeing as how removing everything but the movie with DD5.1 and menu's fit onto a DVD5 without compression. After the iso was created I proceeded to burn it with IMG BURN v2.0.0.0. I procedded to try it in my DVD Player but it just wouldn't play it. After that I had been surfing the internet and found a guide that tells you how to make your DVD go directly to the menu using PGC Edit. It can be found
http://jean.laroche.free.fr/Jumping0.4.3.1/index.html#ADVANCED.
After a few minutes of reading through the guide I was brought to step 5 which was titled Advanced users: go straight to the menu when it looks like you can't!
In the guide he stated he would not go into details on how to do this. Now my question: Could someone explain step 5 in layman's terms so I could understand how to do it?
Any help or comments are greatly apprciated in advance.

Wow, a lotta steps can be avoided there.

1. Rip in file mode. No need for d-tools.
2. DVD Remake Pro (http://www.dimadsoft.com/dvdremakepro/index.php) also strips streams.
3. Finally Jump to PGC on Insert in PgcEdit (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/index.html) and you are home (assuming no shrinking needed).

Thanks dialysis for the guide I will read it tonight though I hope it's not a hard to understand like the last one. And blutach I like to rip my DVD's in .ISO read mode and mount with dameon tools for simple fact that it won't let you delete the file if it's being used seeing as how I haved goofed many times and deleted a folder that hadn't been edited yet with DVD Remake Pro. Most of the time I make the .ISO using DVD Shrink with No Compression settings becuase when you remove audio with DVD Shrink the DVD has no trace of it ever being there. For example last night I backed up The Firm with DVD Rebuilder Pro v1.10.7 and made the iso with DVD Shrink for the simple fact that English 2.0 was the default track and English 5.1 was the secondary track. Thus meaning if you dont remove at least the English 2.0 you will have to press the audio button on the remote or select it in the menu to hear sound. I wonder though is it possible that PGC Edit could do the exact same thing.

Yes, it is. You can reverse the stream selection in the PGC Editor.
