Hi LUK;

You can't type an invalid volume label into the ISO9660 field, but you can copy & paste one there. Copy a title with spaces into the field to see what I mean...

Yup, I'm fully aware of that. Copy + paste bypasses the checks because it doesn't trigger the same events.

If it's an issue, I'll add some 'overall' checks on the field.

I have already signalled a similar problem when the filename is passed via CLI arguments. I haven't tried yet if this bug has already been fixed, but I've read in the versions history that it is now possible to pass different labels for the different file systems. That should be sufficient...
Thanks, LUK!

The CLI stuff you told me about before has all been done r0lZ.

If you just use /VOLUMELABEL it'll automatically correct the name given when being used by the ISO9660 filesystem.

I just hope I remembered to correct the one passed via /VOLUMELABEL_ISO9660 too!

Come to think of it, maybe I auto correct everything, so even if you copy + paste an invalid name into the ISO9660 field it won't make it into the filesystem like that anyway. I'll need to check that when I'm back infront of the code.

Could you add an option to remove splash screen.
thnx

Nope. It's only there while things are loading in the background. As soon as they're done it's removed.

Not only that, it's always been there.... I just made it prettier in v2.

What, the splash screen is very nice.:D
Why would you want to remove it?

I turn splash screen off in every program I use. I just don't like them, no matter how good they look.

Cool. I do the same in some of the programs.;)

Splash screen can be really annoying. Procoder's is the worst as it steals the foreground but ImgBurn (www.imgburn.com)'s a work of art.

There are plenty of splash killers. For example, http://www.digitallis.co.uk/

I liked the charming Volume Label pop-up screen :). It retrieved the DVD-Text perfectly which made for a good synergy with PgcEdit. :thanks:

Maybe a tiny request for next version, can the Labels tab fields be updated with the selected label text so it would not be asked again when i needed to cancel and restart the burn?

Sorry, that was actually NOT done on purpose.

My way (of not updating it) was the only way I could be convinced into adding that functionality at all.

If there's nothing in the label on the main screen, it prompts.

If I then update them, it won't prompt - rendering the auto generate feature useless.

Not everyone just builds 1 image at a time and it's easier for a user to have to click 'yes' twice (assuming he/she cancels a build and restarts) than it is to have a user building multiple images keep having to clear out the label fields so the auto generation code will kick in again.

Thanks for explaining. My thought here is that for any new build/burn the label fields would usually be cleared. And updating the fields would normally serve as confirmation for the entry texts and good for multiple copies :). But then I have always been a 1-movie decrypt/edit/burn backup-er and thinking like one :p

Most importantly, the functionalilty was there and it was g.r.e.a.t :thanks:
